Lord Falconer, Secretary of State for Constitutional Affairs and Lord Chancellor, and Tessa Jowell, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, will both be delivering keynote addresses at Progress’ second regional conference in Birmingham, on Saturday 3 April.
The event, entitled “Building a progressive Britain”, is the first in a series of regional conferences that Progress will be holding in 2004 on the challenges of closing the “progressive deficit” in a third term.
