The Labour Party is looking to recruit an exceptionally talented online campaigner to lead our website and electronic campaigning up to the general election bringing new ideas and creative thinking to our work.
The post holder will have overall responsibility for all aspects of the Labour Party‚s electronic campaigning in preparation for the general election, including maximising the use of new media to enhance communication with Labour‚s key stakeholders, the media and the public. He or she will also oversee the quality and content of the party‚s website.
He or she will manage a small team, including a web editor, but will be expected to co-ordinate resources from across the organisation within an election taskforce structure. The e-Campaigns Manager will be expected to have a thorough knowledge of the e-communication industry and be able to work with outside suppliers.

Susan Deacon MSP wishes to appoint a full-time Constituency Assistant/PA to be based in her constituency office in Portobello, Edinburgh.
You will manage the day to day operation of the constituency office, undertake a range of administrative activities and assist the MSP in providing a comprehensive advice and support service to local constituents. Specific duties will include processing constituent casework; diary management; drafting correspondence and maintaining and developing office systems.
You should possess significant relevant experience of working within a busy office environment and be able to work effectively on your own initiative. Good communication, organisational and IT skills are essential. Knowledge of database management, such as Access and/or Caseworker will be an advantage.
Starting salary will be in the range of £14,337 to £18,318 per annum, dependant on the level of skills and experience.
The hours will be based on a 37 hour week, to be worked mainly from Monday to Friday during normal office hours. Some weekend and evening working will be necessary to assist with constituent interview sessions and other meetings, for which time off in lieu will be given.
