As the dust settles on Tuesday’s budget the myth that this was in any way a ‘progressive’ budget is gradually being exposed. So too are we learning more about what Cameron’ means by ‘big society’. Labour needs to do more to expose not just the inequities of what’s the Government has proposed but the implications that this budget will have on the wealth and structural inequalities in our society.
