Progress campaigns on the Labour doorstep across the country for the party we love. It is central to Progress’ founding mission to see as many members of parliament, assembly members and councillors elected for Labour across the United Kingdom. Come rain or shine, Progress helps Labour in byelections, on polling day and campaigning in-between elections.
The Progress director Richard Angell founded with a group of activists the Labour three seats challenge (#Lab3seats) which is a separate organisation that Progress partners with from time-to-time.
New dates will be announced soon.
2015- parliament
This parliament Progress has organised campaign day in high profile byelections of Oldham, Copeland and Stoke-on-Trent Central, has been out for local councillors across the country, organised a series of campaign days to elect Sadiq Khan mayor of London, and many, many more.
2010-2015 parliament
In the last parliament, Progress supported candidate in Labour’s 106 target seats as part of our Campaign for a Labour Majority. Fun and innovative campaigns like events like Operation Flight, the Lab3seats tour and Lab7Scots were key features. Through the Fightback fundraiser kitemark we helped candidate raise the resources they needed to take the fight to the Tories.
