The general election is only weeks away and we are asking for your help in Manchester Withington
Our internal polling indicates Manchester Withington is extremely close and Lucy Powell stands a very strong chance of winning the seat back off the Liberal Democrats. The time is now to come out and help. I am making a personal request that you would consider campaigning this weekend.
This weekend will be a Manchester Labour Super Weekend (20 and 21 March). We want to deliver the entire constituency with a new leaflet. In the last few weeks members in Withington have been busy distributing thousands of leaflets but we need to do even more.
You will be able to collect leaflets from 10.30am till 1pm from the Co-op rooms on Barlow Moor Road on both Saturday and Sunday. A map is available here.
On Saturday afternoon at 4pm we will be canvassing from the Co-op rooms.
I know that people are very busy but I can’t stress enough just how important winning Manchester Withington is and with our polling telling us just how close it is, we have to ask a little extra.
