With just over a week to go until polling day I’m determined to spread the message that climate change must be a priority – and that Labour can deliver the greener Britain we want to see.

But even during a general election campaign, it’s impossible to meet everyone.

So I’ll be hitting the campaign trail across England tomorrow with Franny Armstrong – the Director of Climate Change film, “The Age of Stupid” and founder of the 10:10 campaign.

Franny and I have been “in conversation” all over the country, talking about climate change and how we tackle it, ever since the solar powered premier of her film in Leicester Square last spring.

This Friday we will pick up that conversation and carry it on across battleground seats in England.

You can watch and take part in that conversation – by tweeting your questions (#edandfranny) and following the events as they happen – live on EdsPledge.com all day Friday.

Starting in the south west and ending in London, Franny and I will meet students, faith groups, business people and voters of all descriptions.

We’ve got to use every last minute of this campaign to tell people that their vote will make a huge difference to the future of the planet.

Visit EdsPledge.com any time after 11am – and watch the events live and see what’s going on.

You and I know that it’s hugely important to get the message out that we need to combat climate change. On Friday, I’ll be using traditional meetings and live online videos to reach as many people as possible in one day.

I hope you can be one of them.
