Croydon Labour is keenly seeking as many volunteers as possible to contribute to the final week of Gerry Ryan’s campaign.

The seat is attracting the interests of national press not only because was decided by a mere 75 votes at the last election but also because of the soap opera controversies that surrounded the local Tory party candidate’s selection.

With Andrew Pelling, an ex Tory, standing as an independent and helping split the traditional Conservative vote, Labour’s Gerry Ryan has a real chance of winning. With a close run Council, with a possible return to a Labour majority there as well, your help can make a tangible difference!

The battle for Croydon Central is sure to come down to a handful of votes and any contribution you can make to the campaign would be extremely appreciated.

If you would like to help please contact Gerry Ryan’s campaign office on 020 8688 1258, call their organiser Ben Furber on 07704 163 099 or contact Ruth Bannister on 07979 515 531 for further details.

Headquarters are ten minutes from East Croydon mainline station at Ruskin House, 23 Coombe Road, Croydon CR0 1BD.
Canvass sessions go out at 10am, 2pm and 6pm each day and there is a phone bank going all day, every day should you have an hour to spare.

All help appreciated – now is the time to get involved and play your part in a vital Labour victory.
