Harriet Harman was able to land the killer blow on money set aside for pension adjustment as “zero”. Harriet is good at making her answers look grounded in real life, like talking about Teresa from the Poets’ Corner estate the oter day. Today it was the brilliantly acronymed Southwark pressure group SPAG. By the end of the debate then Harriet had scored a resounding victory.

Some of the Labour MPs asked great questions, my favourites though was that of Julian Huppert, new Lib Dem MP for Cambridge, asking why Trident is not being included in the strategic defence review – an issue many Labour members might well share concern about and illustrating how the Lib Dems have sold out.

Best line, before it rebounded on Cameron, was “the red book, or should I say in her case the un-read book”. Ouch. Clearly he’d not read it either, as Harriet Harman exposed.
