There will be even more insightful views and commentary in Progress this year as we’ve signed up four new contributing editors.

Graeme Cooke is associate director of the Institute for Public Policy Research and was the author of last year’s much-read Still Partying Like It’s 1995.

Hopi Sen is former head of campaigns at the parliamentary Labour party and has written for the Guardian, the Independent and Renewal.

Anthony Painter is a political writer and commentator. His last book was Barack Obama: The Movement for Change and he is currently writing a book on the future of the left to be published by Arcadia Books later this year. Cooke, Sen and Painter were three of the authors of the In the Black Labour report published in December.

Peter Watt is former general secretary of the Labour party and a Labour blogger.
